What's Included

Food and drinks are included in your ticket, so you can focus fully on getting to know your fellow attendees and the profile book will help break the ice so that you can quickly get to the valuable part of the conversation.

This event is an informal networking event. There will be no speeches or pitches. You don't need to wear a tuxedo or a ballgown. We just want to give people the opportunity to meet and mingle with peers and colleagues in a fantastic environment.

Hosts will be on hand to facilitate introductions, if required, and to ensure that attendees have the best possible experience.

The Book

When we bring people together, we don’t just throw everyone in a room and hope for the best. That’s just not the RAVL style.

Before every networking event, we take some time to get to know each attendee on a brief video call. The results of these conversations are then analysed and written into The Book.

So, what is The Book, exactly?

It’s a PDF of profiles of all the attendees. Not just the boring stuff that you put on LinkedIn but something that will give the other attendees a good flavour of who you are and what you’re hoping to get out of the event. It’s a way for us to help facilitate connections and relationships and to make sure that everyone gets the most out of each event.

You can use The Book to work out who you’d like to make a point of talking to at the event (or who to avoid!) or, if you’ve spoken with someone and forgot to take their details, you can use it to look them up after the event.

We’ve had some really good feedback on The Book and we’re happy to keep putting in the work to produce it so that each of our attendees continues to get the maximum possible value out of each RAVL event.
